IELTS Writing Task 2 – Parenting Courses | Phân Tích & Dàn Ý Mẫu
Hôm trước học viên mình vừa đi thi IELTS về và nhận được đề Writing task 2- Parenting courses này. Cô bé phân vân không biết nên viết thế nào cho đảm bảo điểm Task Response- 1 trong 4 tiêu chí chấm Writing. Vậy nên mình sẽ phân tích đề này và gửi tặng các bạn Dàn ý chuẩn band 8.0+ nhé.
Topic: The best way to ensure the growth of children is to make parents take parenting courses every year. Do you agree or disagree?
1. Phân tích đề IELTS Writing task 2
- Topic: Cách tốt nhất để đảm bảo sự phát triển của trẻ em là yêu cầu cha mẹ tham gia các khoá học nuôi dạy con hàng năm.
- Type: Opinion (Agree/Disagree)
- Từ khóa: best way, ensure the growth of children, parenting courses, every year
- Vấn đề ẩn:
- “Best way” = quan trọng nhất, tối ưu nhất → cần phân tích liệu cách này có hiệu quả tuyệt đối không, hay chỉ là một phần trong nhiều cách cần thiết?
- Thesis statement (ý kiến chung toàn bài- Partially Agree): While parenting courses can offer certain benefits, I disagree that they should be made mandatory every year or viewed as the best method to support children’s development.
2. Dàn ý mẫu chi tiết cho đề
Body 1: taking part in parenting courses annually has certain benefits
- Can reduce harmful parenting practices or ignorance in child development.
Example: guide parents on what to do when children get sick or how to deal with accidents that can happen to children
- Improve parents’ understanding of child psychology and communication.
Parents stay connected with their children through different developmental stages ⇒ children grow to become happy, healthy individuals.
Body 2: parenting courses should be optional and combined with other measures
- There is no one-size-fits-all approach.
Not all families face the same challenges or gaps in parenting skills. A fixed annual course might be redundant or irrelevant for many.
Example: Experienced or well-informed parents may not benefit much from repeated basic-level content.
- The mandatory nature of the courses can cause low motivation and poor engagement, reducing their effectiveness.
Instead, we should:
Offer optional, tailored programs for parents at different life stages or based on needs (e.g., parenting teens, neurodiverse children).
Invest in social support systems (family counseling, and parent support groups) and school-family partnerships

Đề này thực chất không phải đề mới, mà đã được ra trong nhiều lần thi IELTS trước đây.
Mình tìm thấy 1 đề khác cùng chủ đề Parenting courses:
“Caring for children is probably the most important job in any society. Because of this, all mothers and fathers should be required to take a course that prepares them to be good parents. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this view?”
Các bạn hoàn toàn có thể dùng ý tưởng bên trên cho đề này nhé, cần thì biến đổi một chút đi thôi. Ví dụ: đề số 2 này không có từ every year, nên chúng ta cũng có thể bỏ các ý liên quan đi nha. Nguyên tắc khi dùng lại ý tưởng giữa các đề na ná nhau là bám sát key words trên đề để tạo outline (dàn ý) theo sát những key words đó nhé.
